Homes that run themselves.

Most smart homes in Kenya are a collection of apps that don't talk to each other. We design the whole system before a single device is bought — lighting, cameras, climate and access, working as one.

Two practices

One studio,
two kinds of intelligence.

A house that anticipates you and a business that runs itself ask the same question: what should happen without being asked? We answer it for both.

01 / Residential

Crest Home

Lighting, security and climate designed around how you actually live — not a box of gadgets left with a manual.

  • Scene design per room and hour
  • Camera coverage that respects privacy
  • Gate, door and alarm on one timeline
  • Local control when the internet drops
02 / Commercial

Crest Agents

Software and agentic systems for businesses that would rather have outcomes than dashboards.

  • Agentic workflows over your existing tools
  • Custom software, built to fit
  • Integration with what you already run
  • Monitoring, evaluation and handover

The method

Design first.
Hardware second.

The right system for a Westlands apartment is not the right system for a Karen house. We start with your day, then specify the parts.

  • We doDesign, supply, configure, commission and support.
  • We don'tElectrical rewiring or structural work — we coordinate with your electrician so low-voltage and mains meet properly.
  • We refuseDevice lists sold as strategy. If a room doesn't need automating, we say so.
  • We hand overDocumented scenes, labelled circuits, and a system you can operate without us.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does home automation cost in Kenya?

It depends on room count and whether you want lighting only, or lighting plus security and climate. A single-room scene setup is a fraction of a whole-house design. We quote per project after a walkthrough — no per-device markup games.

Can you automate a house that's already built?

Yes. Most of our work is retrofits. Wireless control layers mean we rarely need to open a wall.

Will it still work if the internet goes down?

Scenes and switches run locally on the controller. Internet is needed for remote access and voice control — not for the lights to work.

Do you work with Alexa, Google Home or Apple Home?

We integrate with the major platforms, but we design around a local controller so you're not dependent on any one vendor's cloud.

Do you install in apartments?

Yes — apartments are often where automation pays off fastest, because lighting and security are the whole experience.
